To reach Hotel Villa Mexicana Creel from the city of Chihuahua, follow the road to Cuauhtémoc, then follow the signs to Creel. The Hotel Ressort is on Calle Adolfo López Mateos s/n, on the west side of Creel just before the turnoff to Divisadero
The Tarahumara mountain range is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the world. It is a privileged place with innumerable sites of extraordinary beauty. This vast zone -which we welcome you to visit- is inhabited by extraordinary human beings, members of an ethnic group known as Tarahumara Indians, who refer to themselves as Raramuri. Hotel Villa Mexicana Creel is a vibrant example of Mexican arquitecture and a reflection of the local Tarahumara culture's love of color. Built on nine acres with complete perimeter fencing and a security gate, the campground comes alive with rich hues of bright blue, orange, purple and yellow that vie for attention with the myriad of wildflowers that liberally dot the nearby fields.

This building houses a lobby and a separate lounge area, each furnished with comfortable chairs and sofas and decorated with pottery, artwork and items reflecting the Sierra Tarahumara heritage and culture. Also in the main building you can find a Restaurante and a Bar, in which you can choose from a menu or a buffet; live entertainment is offered in the bar in the evenings. Club House also provides fully equiped restrooms and private dressing rooms open 24 hours at day.

We have available for rent mountain bikes, horses & a variety of tours to the near by attractions. You can also attend to excursions, mountain climbing chats, hiking and projection of interesting videos

We have ava lable volley ball & basket ball courts, a small soccer court and you will also find ping-pong tables. If you need to rent sports equipment you can do it at the Sports House. The playground is located in front of the Main Building where the "Kings" of the family will have lots of fun under your glance from the restaurant, bar or lobby. In this area prevails swings, "subibajas", a suspension bridge, forts and others made with wood from the zone. |
